Seend Top Lock opens on the Kennet & Avon Canal

The lock gates of Seend Top Lock are seen here opening as we are about to pass under Image] (Bridge 152) and enter the lock, the last of a series of five that pass Seend Cleeve and then Seend when travelling eastwards on the Kennet & Avon Canal. Seend Top Lock is numbered 21 on the canal, and has a drop / rise of 6'8" making it one of the shallower locks on the canal.
