Burghley House

Image: © Len Williams Taken: 13 Jun 2015

This view of Burghley House was taken through the rungs of the gate which provides access to the area in front of the house. Unlike many houses Burghley doesn't have an ornate external entrance, i.e. the entry door is on the ground floor and an internal staircase provides access to the state rooms on the 1st floor. For a view of the gate through which this photograph was taken refer to picture Image
