Construction of Scott's Close began in the mid-1960s, by local builder Thomas Flatters (known to all as Tommy). The light brown bungalow on the far left was the first to be built. The bungalow to its right and then the red brick bungalow on the corner were more recent additions, circa 1980. Langtoft continues to grow, with new estates being added at regular intervals.
