Not unusual to find a wasp at the seaside, especially near the confectionery and ice-cream stalls, but this one is a mechanical version. It is a Westland Wasp HAS1 and bears the name of 'Endurance'. It refers to those helicopters of H.M.S. Endurance and their attack on the 'Santa Fe' - an Argentinian submarine - during the Falklands War.
