Cricket at Archdeacon Meadow

This ground is where the pupils of King's School, Gloucester, play cricket. However, this photo shows a scene from the 2007 annual Gloucester Cricket Festival, when Gloucestershire County Cricket Club take on another first-class county side. In this picture, Gloucestershire are fielding, whilst the Northamptonshire batsman playing the ball is none other than England favourite Monty Panesar. In the background can be seen the glorious tower of Gloucester Cathedral.
