Adjoining North Bar is Amphion House, No.2 North Bar Without, 1793-4. Grade II Listed Building http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-167377-2-north-bar-without-beverley-#.VYU2uJXbKUk No.4, with gable end to the road and jetties to the first and second floors, is late-18th century, remodelled 1892-4 by woodcarver J.E. Elwell. Note the great array of carved figures, shields and other details. Now the Sam Lion Thai restaurant.
