In the foreground is the B6265, the old turnpike, travelling over the Holme Beck towards its junction with A629(T), the new arterial road. A train is using the railway line that runs between Leeds and Skipton, and in the distance, to the right of Kildwick church barges can be seen on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
