The sign depicts Agnes Briggs and Mrs Eleanor Coates Tylden. Agnes was the daughter of the rector and left £10 in her will for the relief of the poor. Mrs Tylden was the Lady of the Manor who died in 1928 aged 105, who was a benefactor to the village and paid for, among other things, the village hall. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6813766
