This is the furthest south of the London Borough of Bromley, close to the ridge of the North Downs, and it is hard to believe here that one is still in Greater London. This path from Grays Road meets Old Harrow Lane a little way ahead. The latter is a very old sunken trackway that only a 4 x 4 can negotiate. Cow parsley is much in evidence next to the footpath.
