The road winds through farmland on the cultivated fringe of Salisbury Plain - and notice the chalkiness of the soil. This is part of the Army Training Estate, and the shadows in the foreground are from notices at a tank crossing. There were swallows and martins flitting around catching insects on this June evening, but I didn't realise until later that I'd caught one of the swallows in this image.
