This is a very rare animal indeed - a gingang in original condition. Almost without exception in my experience around this area, they have either been converted into conservatories or are in ruins. The only comparable one I can think of is at Beamish Open Air Museum. The building to the right will be the barn, where the threshing machine will have been located. The gingang contained a wheel turned by horses walking round and round to drive the machine; hence its shape.
