Fire at paper mill

Image: © Hywel Williams Taken: 6 May 2003

A huge fire erupts at a paper mill's warehouse. The flames were enormous about half an hour before this picture was taken - but I had to go back to get the camera (an ancient Chinon ES-3000, one of the world's first digital cameras - picture is posted as full resolution, unedited). The huge plume of water visible isn't a fireman's hose as I first thought when I got there, it's actually from a burst water pipe. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/kent/3003099.stm
