Originally built around 1735, Aston Hall was one of two grand houses in Aston-on-Trent (the other, Aston Lodge, was demolished many years ago). In 1924 it was purchased by Nottingham Corporation and served as a hospital for many years. Now it houses a mixture of offices and apartments.
