The fine B-listed (see: http://data.historic-scotland.gov.uk/pls/htmldb/f?p=2200:15:0::::BUILDING:20326 ) terrace at the northwest corner of the square. No. 13 (nearest to the camera) is a bit later than that others, which are thought to have been designed by Archibald Simpson. The golden postbox celebrates the cycling gold medal won by local para-Olympian Neil Fachie (see: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3802265 for a close-up) in the 2012 Games.
