93 Goldthorn Hill. Derelict for many years....it used to be almost obscured by undergrowth and trees, since cleared. After a body was found inside, a notice outside read something like "Keep out, the last person entering died". In 2005 plans for three four bedroom detached houses on the site were debated, and opposed, and nothing seems to have happened since. The newish door looks odd! Update: 15.8.07 - deadlock apparently. The owner has withdrawn applications because of repeated refusal for planning permission on the grounds of too many dwellings planned for the site. Update: 23.1.10 - planning permission has been granted. Demolition is due soon. Police were called because squatters moved in during November 2009 http://www.expressandstar.com/2009/11/20/city-eyesore-cottage-home-to-squatters/. There was certainly smoke coming from the chimney this afternoon. Gone, 22 June 2011!!
