As the road it stands on is named after it one assumes a pub has been here for some time. Sadly with no local trade the chances of this landmark ever opening as a licensed premises seem slim. I can’t imagine anyone who could afford to buy it as a dwelling wanting to live right on this relatively busy junction. It seems the decay since Image was taken will continue for some time to come.
