It's late April and the lime trees are coming into leaf along this agreeable walk. Compare David Stowell's similar view from 2005: Image It was originally the drive from the village up to Newbold Comyn House, home of the Willes family. The great oaks and elms that lined it have long gone. The name Holly Walk derives from a lost feature further to the northeast; it has long been applied to the whole modern length. The roads are Hamilton Terrace on the left, one-way down, and Regent Grove on the right, one-way up.
