One of the delights of spring is May blossom, seen here alongside the footpath following the route of the old railway line between Bourne and Sleaford which closed in 1964 and as the corridor of land has been left practically untouched it has become a haven for wildlife with the heavily scented white blossom cascading from the trees on both sides of the path.
