The two wooden hurst frames, some of the gearing, four bed stones and a crown wheel with two auxiliary drives is all that remains of the machinery of this former watermill. The observant will notice that although the wooden wheel shaft survives, the pit wheel is missing. The metal main shaft appears to be later and is of interesting shape and construction.
