This nicely constructed ham stone detached house was at one time a public house as it has the words Blue Boy In engraved in stone on the end gable. Clapton Court, the large house set in its own substantial grounds is just behind it. On its front wall it has an AA (Automobile Association) sign stating 2 3/4 miles to Crewkerne, 1 1/4 miles to Drimpton and 139 3/4 miles to London.
