Boys and girls waiting to play, accompanying parents and coaches and a few spectators, sit close to the ends of the courts. A few spectators are in a gallery, but most are on these seats along the edges of the courts. There is a row of tables for officials at one side of the sports hall, with results being collected and courts allocated. There is a referee - covering up to 12 matches simultaneously; the players keep their own scores and report them at the end of each match.
