Track passing the phone box in Westhope

This track is a public footpath which leads from the phone box and grit bin in Westhope to the houses at Middle Westhope Image The road between the two is almost twice as long as the footpath, and one wonders why the track was not adopted as a surfaced road. The OS map names the first buildings to be passed as "The Barracks"
