Direction sign at the Leygreen Farm junction of the Beaulieu Road, New Forest

This typical direction sign points down the minor road towards Ipley Cross, whilst another post on the other side of the road indicates the way to Beaulieu and Lyndhurst. Not sure why the directions would be split up like this, especially when the sign in the photo can only be seen when approaching from the Beaulieu direction.
