A view from the Compton Stand at the Nursery end towards the scoreboard on the Allen Stand next to the Pavilion. It shows a Middlesex second-innings collapse, to 37 for 7, on the third afternoon against Durham. The home side had scored 463 in their first innings and may have regretted not enforcing the follow on after bowling Durham out for 294. The last three Middlesex wickets added 52 and the match was nicely poised when bad light ended play early with Durham 24 for 2, needing another 234 on the final day - but the mayhem continued and Durham were bowled out before lunch for 71 (James Harris 9 for 34).
