This recently prepared field has a footpath directly on the line that these walkers are using. Because of the ploughing the line was not visible on the ground, but the farmer has 14 days to reinstate the line. In the meantime as now crops had been planted it was still most appropriate to follow the direct line rather than divert round the edge.
