I always peer over the rail bridge from the A57 toward Warrington Bank Quay when I walk home hoping to see something of interest, more in hope than expectation. On this occasion I was treated to the sight of an extraordinarily long - 16 wagons? - train pulling large logs under the nearby road bridge towards Warrington Bank Quay station. Their provenance and destination intrigued me but, of either, I have no clue.
