This pet cemetery in Low Marple lies at the entrance to what were once the extensive grounds of Brabyns Hall. The other graves are mainly canine but this is the grave of a much loved seagull. How wonderful it must have been to have enough wealth to spend on gravestones for pets - even seagulls.
