Late 18th century brick former farmhouse with slate roof, dated 1777 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4452250. Although the house beyond, Sherbrook Farmhouse, is slightly older, it is not listed; however, Holm Farmhouse is Listed Grade II, possibly because it retains its roof of graduated Swithland slate. Both houses have recently had modern plastic window frames replaced with more traditional casements.
