The (relatively) recent addition of the Mann Island buildings has changed the view over Canning Dock dramatically. What was formerly the site of car showrooms and undistinguished sheds is now a stunning framework for the Pier Head buildings in the background. The presence of the red Planet lightship is the icing on the cake.
