Looks like this chap up the oak is getting it ready to be felled, the planting on the cutting was cut and shredded earlier but stopped short of taking it all up to the railway, possibly to avoid the nesting season. Anyway, it will have to go to make way for the new cutting under the railway for the second carriageway.
