A closer view of the bowl of Image] showing the leaf-shapes (created by what are effectively intersecting positive and negative sine waves!). The shapes are filled with various designs, some looking like leaves, some like shells, while others seems to be purely geometrical. Beneath these shapes is the customary fluting of the lower bowl, and beneath that a rather primitive or simplified version of the rope moulding found on many such fonts. The little white cloth seen on the far side of the bowl is there because this font had very recently been used for its purpose of baptising an infant, and the cloth had been used to wipe away excess water.
