Old Stoneywood School

Dated 1864 and B-listed: http://data.historic-scotland.gov.uk/pls/htmldb/f?p=2200:15:0::::BUILDING:15702 . It was probably built by the (relatively) enlightened Pirie family to provide education to children of mill workers at Stoneywood Paper Mill. Replaced ca. 1939 by the present school just up the road and now divided into flats, hence the dreaded satellite dishes
