The building behind this bus in Withington Library, designed by Henry Price and opened in 1927. It is one of the "Carnegie" Libraries, in this case the Carnegie fund paid one third of the cost. It is a noble building, and I'm sorry it is almost wholly obscured in this image! The bus MX58FUG is an Enviro 400 from Alexander-Dennis which has been allocated to the Stagecoach Sharston depot since September 2014. It carries fleet number 19424.
