This bus dates from 1955 and originated with Huddersfield Joint Omnibus Committee whose two members were Huddersfield Corporation and the London Midland & Scottish Railway and the latter's successors. It has an AEC Regent III chassis which carries East Lancs 61-seat bodywork and would have operated in Huddersfield itself and to neighbouring towns.
