This southerly facing photograph of Malton Gate was taken from one of the little bridges that cross Thornton Beck linking the properties to the roadway. The viewpoint is just a few metres south of the junction of Malton Gate with Image from where this photograph looking Image was taken. Ahead, on the left, are the Image Further ahead on the right the shop with the sun-blind is G.R.P. Hill – Butcher. The stream is flowing south and is one of the water courses for Thornton beck.
