Looking down Brookfold Lane from the top of Brookfold Bridge. A wooden fence has been erected along the side of the embankment and some of the undergrowth has been cleared away. It remains a rather precarious descent from the former railway track except for the more sure-footed of people and it is not an official right of way. Update (April 2016). This has now been blocked at the bottom by a metal fence Image
