Looking north from the slopes of Mount Hill over Appleslade Bottom. At the top of the hill (behind the camera) is Red Shoot Plain, an expanse of heath. On descending the hill into the "bottom" (valley) the gorse and heather gives way to grass cropped by the roaming ponies and cattle.
