The road sign gives directions to those emerging onto the main road from Three Acre Lane; the bus stop is one of the last before entering the suburbs of Swanage. Notable, though, is the traditional Dorset fingerpost roundel which has been positioned on top of the bus-stop sign, although the fingerpost itself is long gone. The W of Wareham and the S of Swanage have become illegible, as have both of the As in the road number. See Image for a close-up of the roundel.
