Also referred to as Upper Pitglassie and as Backhill of Hatton Recumbent Stone Circle, this circle, thought to have consisted of twelve stones, is now reduced to just two main stones and a few smaller ones. The nearest stone is probably one of the flankers, now lying down. The oblique light shows up several cup-marks on its flat surface.
