The area around St Mary's church in Acton has just been refurbished as a town square. There are two areas of market at week-ends; this is for clothes, handicrafts, and similar. The nearest stall has goods from Ghana. See Action Acton http://www.actionacton.com/town_centre.htm for details. The other area nearby is a farmers' market.
