This is a well-known sight seen from the 96 bus in Upper Wickham Lane. A number of horses are stabled here and at weekends give young people a chance to learn how to look after horses and also ride them. In the distance the tower blocks in the centre are on the Rockmount Estate in Plumstead. To the right are Bostall Woods while to the left are the woods of Winns Common, with the Wickham Valley in between.
