This grand, Victorian building, at the corner of Silver Street and Moss Street, houses the public library, art gallery and museum. Dating from 1899-1901, it is a Grade II listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 210706 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-210706-art-gallery-and-library-bury British Listed Buildings).
