This group of offices with a short portico has had trouble with the rendering in places. Not entirely inappropriate, perhaps, as this is Montgomery Court. The plaque records that no less a luminary than Field Marshall Viscount Bernard Montgomery established this building as his Divisional Headquarters after Dunkirk. The people of Frome erected the tablet in his honour.
