'New' Jubilee monument by the Pepperpot, Castlebarrow

The small monument in the foreground was erected by the National Trust and Silverdale Parish Council to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. The two seem to suggest that Victorians and latter-day 'Elizabethans' have a different way of doing things perhaps.
