Bridge over former railway line at Ferndale

The railway line through Ferndale and the Rhondda Fach valley, the Maerdy Branch, closed to passengers in 1964, and completely in 1986 after the closure of Maerdy Colliery; the track was lifted in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
