The Temperance Hall is one of the early sites on Brora Village Trail. Built in 1893, the Temperance movement encouraged people to avoid alcohol. The hall is now a community facility. Brora villagers have produced an excellent trail with indicators, information boards and an attractive booklet which is available free of charge in local shops and tourist facilities. It certainly adds a lot of interest to a visit to this tiny Highland village with such an unusual past.
