Located on the bend of Balcombe Road which now covers the eastern end of the former mill pond belonging to Bridgers Mill which lay out of shot to the left until its demolition in 1968. The road had previously ran tight to the railway embankment necessitating a ninety degree turn to travel under the bridge, see Image The building was constructed in the 1960s and were for many years used as offices by the county court but are now occupied by Mane, a wholesale and retail firm dealing in perfume.
