See Image Daniel de la Cherois, a Huguenot who had been in the army of King William III, had a daughter, Marie Angelique, who married into the Montgomery family. She inherited the estate bequeathing it to her son (also Daniel). The family had a substantial vault in the church graveyard. This is part of one (of two) inscriptions on the vault.
