The lane between the lower and upper farms at the hamlet, which consists only of the two farms and their converted outbuildings - it must have been substantially larger when the medieval settlement to the northwest was inhabited. One of the barns visible left of centre is listed http://list.historicengland.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1304631&searchtype=mapsearch .
