Bury underwent major redevelopment called 'The Rock Triangle' in 2007 and this church on Rochdale Road was located in the middle of the project. Originally it was thought it would be retained but all this changed when Bury Council built a replacement church, Image 300 yards away, to replace the old one shown above which was demolished in June 2007.
